About the Founder
4impactstudio was founded by Bernadette Asango, a Kenyan born Australian-based founder with lived experience in charity, community, and impact work connected to Africa.
Through her journey, Bernadette recognised that many founders from African backgrounds in Australia were trying to create meaningful impact overseas while navigating complex questions around structure, governance, accountability, and Australian regulatory expectations.
4impactstudio was created to provide thoughtful guidance, clarity, and informed perspective for founders building impact across borders.
More than an advisory studio, 4impactstudio is also a space for conversation, shared learning, and the curation of knowledge for impact founders and organisations. The name reflects the belief that meaningful impact is built through different stages — from idea to long-term sustainability.
